How to release tension from the pelvic floor and why it is so important!
This is the first in a series of three mini yoga sequences to relax the muscles that are connected to and support your pelvic floor muscles. Leaking is common but it is not normal and definitely not something you should live with.
How to do kegels / pelvic floor exercises
Studies have shown that practicing these during the first and second trimesters of your pregnancy can help reduce leaking in the third and fourth trimesters. Please note that just doing kegels will not be the solution to a dysfunctional pelvic floor but will be one piece of the recovery puzzle.
